     This part is designed to prevent air leakage caused by thread failure on older nylon air pistons, while also improving overall stability and durability. This design was rarely seen in early forks, but it was widely used in team and racing applications. I also found a similar design in later DLR forks.

     After upgrading my own Headshok Fatty SL with this part, it has been in use for over three months, and its performance has been nearly perfect. Please note that installing and modifying your Headshok fork requires solid experience with Headshok servicing; otherwise, internal damage can easily occur.

Only used for Cannondale CODA Tarantula Competition crankset.
