All fork legs are manufactured by Cannondale and were originally supplied without steerers installed. We produce standard 1 1/8″ steerers compatible with 34 mm headsets. The steerers are CNC-machined from aluminum alloy and them lighter than traditional steel steerers, feature a reinforced design at the bottom of the internal bore.
For Ultra version forks, we offer a brake boss welding service. During welding, the junction at the bottom of the steerer is also reinforced, an optional full heat treatment is also available afterward to further improve the overall strength. Please note that welding will cause the original paint on the fork to be damaged or removed. We offer repainting services, with pricing based on the complexity of the paintwork.
